Upon Pleading, Baba Solves All Our Problems

It is an easiest task for Baba to give answers for all our questions and solve our problems. But, we would seek Baba's shelter only when problems and adversities engulf us. Baba creates problems with an intention to dispel our ignorance and erase our ego which prides itself that it alone could solve problems and boasts, "on my own I could solve the problems". It is Baba, who causes our ego to surrender to His Feet, helps solve our problems. God draws us into the whirl-pool of worldly problems to remind us to rely on Him and that we need His Grace to get pulled out of the trap of problems and troubles.

Baba, the Divine One, can solve our problems the moment we pray to Him. The human nature is bound by three characteristics viz, Satva, Rajo and Tamas. Of the three, Rajo Guna implies a sense of pride and arrogance which, doubts and belittles the existence and Almightiness of God. This leads to several problems. At times our arrogance and own convictions would prevent us from recognizing God. We strive and struggle priding ourselves upon our skills; but, then, we fail and regret. Once we turn to Baba and seek His help, Baba helps us solve our problems by the Power of His Grace. Baba answers our earnest prayers if we look to Him in fervent faith. Baba walks with us like an Unfailing Friend.

Sai Baba is the Guide to the Greatest of Souls

Sri Sai Baba, a Great Yogi, used to move like a common man. He is the guide to the great saints. Who is a great soul? Let us examine. There comes a sweet fragrance and melodious music from the open area surrounded by lofty boundary walls. Some pedestrians have assumed it to be something that does not matter and kept moving. Some stopped and peeped inside the compound, got mesmerized by the melody and jumped in. They did not return. The third group of people climbed up the walls and peeped inside. They returned to the street and called up all, 'Come! Come! We can get lot of delight there' and thereafter encouraged and persuaded them to come inside. Out of these three sorts of people, the first group represents foolish persons. The second group is like the prophets, who, on realizing God, forget the world and remain in that state of ecstasy. The third group consists of people who would sacrifice their very happiness for the salvation and welfare of all.

On a closer study of Baba's life, we come across countless events in which He followed truth as per the spirit of the adage "If we protect truth, truth, in turn, protects us". With simple and sweet words Baba taught His devotees the essence of truth and righteousness. Through His deeds He made it clear that practice of righteousness will lead us in the right direction.

It is Baba Who Makes Life Meaningful

One might think as if the world is governed by ignorance when one comes across people without a basic understanding of life, jumping to feet in the dark corners and moving, purposelessly, towards an unknown destination. Many of us are still groping in the darkness, unaware of "Who we are"? "Where have we come from"? And "Where are we moving"? People are leading a dreary life without knowing the meaning and purpose of life. The Almighty created mankind in His own image of ever-new Delight. The root cause of all human troubles lies in our inability to discover the Source of Bliss within us.

A complete surrender to God's will, would solve all our problems, reveals the purpose of life and shows the lovely path of realizing it. One who can understand this reality will eternally stay in His celestial light of wisdom. On tasting the nectar of His love, the earlier earthly bonds of hurdles would appear pleasant. The priceless life gifted to us would appear more purposeful. Life is delight if we look through the eyes of devotion and faith. The Omnipotent Baba blessed us with such a beautiful life, reveals us the goal of life and guides us in His Love-Light to reach Him and be with Him. Only our faith and love-devotion to Baba will make our lives meaningful and joyful. Let us pray to Baba to guide us in His Light of Grace.

Wishes of the Righteous Get Fulfilled by God

God, the All-Watchful, shall never abandon His children in the dark when firm faith is reposed in Him. If we are moving on the path of righteousness by seeking His shelter and serving humanity with a feeling of serving God, He will surely fulfill our desires. But, what kind of desires are fulfilled? Selfish desires meant to harm others will get successfully repulsed by the Omnipotent Baba. He will not even accept our own desires that may harm us. Is it not justified?

Will the mother accept the infant's desire to play with fire? God too is like that. A desire which is not harmful to others and devoid of evil thought will definitely get fulfilled. God cannot bear seeing His children getting hurt. Besides, not only things we justly desire for, but even things we rightly deserve are granted to us without being asked. Instead of seeking boons, if one seeks more devotion and liberation, our Merciful Baba will certainly shower His Divine Grace. If we meditate on Him with a pure heart, He will grant us not just things asked for but grant us the good things unasked for. We must understand that if a particular desire is not fulfilled, it is because of the fact that it does no good to us and therefore He did not grant it. When Baba, who grant boons even without asking for them, is with us, where is the need for asking Him specifically?

Trust Your Ability and Pray for God's Support

It would be a misconception to think that we are living by our own ability. Whatever work we do, it should be treated as a work entrusted to us by God. The task should be accomplished as commanded by our Master, Baba. We must remember that the capability of doing it is also gifted by Him. We have to seek Baba's blessings to accomplish the work successfully. Then, by the grace of Sainath, our abilities will be put to effective use and the task gets performed.

When a kid was attempting to lift a load beyond his capacity, his father asked, "Are you making full use of your strength?" The boy impatiently replied "Yes". Again, the father asked "why did you not seek my help?" It means that in times of need if the Heavenly Father Baba's assistance is not sought and utilized, we should realize that we did not tap our capacity to the maximum extent. Though it looks little, Baba's help would indeed be of great help to us. Hence, we should get ready to receive such help from Baba. His blessings will make our every effort fruitful. The one who does not receive His help is nothing and only when our hearts are filled with Him, we become true devotees. Before undertaking any mighty task, our foremost duty should be to pray the Almighty, "Baba! I can accomplish the task only with your divine help, co-operation and blessings".

Never Disheartened While Reaching Your Goal

The journey of life is nothing but striving to reach our life's goal. We get tired in this long sojourn. Several hurdles are encountered on the way. To overcome them, we need enormous strength of mind. Mind is the source of it. Fearing the advent of obstacles, some people would not start any work and remain where they are. Many of us belong to this category. They have no desire to grow either materially or spiritually. Some people would start any work with much fan-fare. But one set-back would draw them away from work. They are the weak and the fallen ones. Very few people have the ability to withstand and remain firm in the face of tests or set-backs. They taste success. The difference between them is the resolute mind and endurance.

Body gets nourished by the intake of food. Mind gets strengthened only by practice. The Ever-Compassionate Baba, will grant the much-needed mental strength to His devotees through rigorous practice. Baba says, "Look to Me, Your burden is indeed Mine". If such assurance of Baba is with us, we can climb any mountain of hardship. Just as the mountaineer takes the support of the rock, the devotee can reach the pinnacle of life with the mighty support of Baba's Grace. One could face the challenges of life with a stout heart and resolute mind. With Baba's Grace, we can reach the Abode of Self-Liberation.

Baba Alone Blesses us With Pure, Divine Love

Although several friends, intimate and near and dear ones, are around us, great treasure and pleasure of life are within one's reach, we sometimes get the feeling of 'loneliness'. A sense of lacking something and an unknown feeling of dissatisfaction engulfs us. We hunger for pure, spotless, intimate love that never abandons us. Why do we feel so? The reason - "What does 'I' mean? Is it the body? No!" Although several activities like eating, drinking, sleeping, listening, seeing that we do, of course, appease the sense organs of the body, our inner soul is not satisfied. Once we get the feeling that 'we are distinct from the physical body composed of five elements', we think that the void can be filled only by divinity. Baba, who incarnated on the earth for the sake of mankind, shall only show the path to true and enduring happiness.

The search for God is surely a quest for joy. God is the embodiment of Ever-New Joy. We need to search for Baba. Like a child, we must long to belong to Baba, chanting His name and always listening to Him, as He alone can bless us live blissfully. When we cry like a child for Baba's Presence, He will bless us grow and glow in health and strength, plenty and peace. Baba's blessings are spiritual riches. To come to Baba is to reach the Abode of Love, Light and Delight.

Better to be in Baba's Consciousness than in ours

It is but human nature to always worry about what others might think of them. We wish to see that people all around should think of us in a positive manner. It is justified to some extent. But, as long as our deeds are good and noble, it is absolutely not necessary to either worry about the views of others or get pained by their hurtful comments.

The weeds in the crop spoil the very crop itself. Likewise, the feelings of hatred and ego will spoil our very existence. The darkness of ego is more darker than natural darkness. To assume that we know everything is like staying in perpetual darkness. There is a nice way to get rid of that darkness and suffering. That is to stop thinking of our own self and start thinking on Baba again and again, through which medium it would become easier to come into light. Causes of fear like inhibitions and cowardice would just vanish, duly replaced by faith in Baba. Then, we can bring into light those who were caught in similar dark chambers. If we offer all our thoughts to the Merciful Baba, we can surely be freed from turmoil and forgetting ourselves, we can attain a state of serene joy. All troubles and tears arise only when we get attached to our physical body. When we shed 'body-consciousness' and get into the Kingdom of 'Divine Consciousness', Baba is visible in every being.

The Significance of Baba Seeking Alms

In spite of having great powers to turn a pauper into a prince, Baba led a simple life of a Fakir. He used to beg food from five chosen homes in Shirdi in a very systematic manner. Baba suggests that in order to destroy one's ego, ascetics must live a simple life by begging alms. He used to carry with Him a Zoli (rectangular peace of cloth) and a tin-pot. On His way to begging, Baba would affectionately call every one in those houses, like 'mother', 'sister' or 'daughter'. After receiving their offerings in the Zoli and liquids in the tin-pot, He would keep them in an earthen pot in the Masjid. Several dumb creatures like dogs, cats and crows used to eat that food. Baba would not stop them, but would eat only the left-overs.

Baba used to accept alms as "Bhiksha" for conferring blessings on those who offered to Him alms. He clarified that people should offer food to the sadhus and ascetics to get absolved from five deadly sins. When the house-wives separate chaff from the grain by beating, grinding, rolling the stones to soften the cereals, washing dishes, cleaning with a broom and lighting the fire for cooking, several insects get perished in the process. So, His acceptance of alms from the women of the house was merely to cleanse their sins. How fortunate are those house-wives who could offer food as Bhiksha, to Baba, the Great Giver.

Devotion is the Master-Key

The keys of iron safe are the symbols of house-holders' control of the house. Along with power, elderliness and responsibility are also linked to it. In fact, the keys must be in the competent and right hands. When such competent people have the quality of compassion, they only care for the welfare of the house. Unaware of the fact that the spiritual wealth concealed within us is far greater than the wealth stored in the safe, we show concern for the wealth hoarded. Body is like an iron safe in which we want to store wealth. Inside it, there is the divine light of the spirit that glows like precious jewels and gems. That is the greatest spiritual treasure of the soul, the Light of God. To open that great treasure-house, the master-key 'devotion' is given to us. We should humbly treat the devotion-key Baba granted us and use it for self-liberation.

In order to unearth the spiritual wealth within us, we should shed pride, sense of helplessness and dedicate our life to chanting Baba's Name. Instead of making life a battle-ground for acquiring material wealth, if we worship Baba with a deep devotion, destroying our pride and arrogance, we experience ever-new divine bliss. Hence, in order to have the golden vision of the Spirit-Light glowing within the temple of our souls, we need the master-key of 'devotion' to unlock its doors.

Avoid hasty decisions, wait for Baba's commands

Some men assume that they have unusual talent and unmatched power to accomplish any Herculean task. Drunk of this arrogant attitude, whatever task they undertake may not always yield the expected results. Self-confidence is good, but it is dangerous when it exceeds the bounds. The ego will blind us to see the truth that there is the divine power beyond the limits of human ability and power. That is arrogance coupled with ego. Pride is the primary cause of man's down-fall. When confronted by a certain problem, some people assume that they are capable of tackling it. Without understanding the nature of the problem, they venture hasty decisions, miserably fail and incur loss. But, by praying to Baba, our Living God, we can find solutions to our problems and succeed in our works.

We have to realize that neither success nor the grace of Baba can be won in haste. To get right solutions to our problems from Baba, we need to confidently wait with expectation. The blooming of a flower or the ripening of a fruit is possible by the will of Baba only. Even it takes some time. Likewise, when our problems get complicated, we have to patiently wait for Baba’s directions. Waiting expectantly is unavoidable. If we repose firm faith in Baba and pray with deep devotion, Baba helps us solve our intricate problems, is a trice, by His Divine Touch.

The Lendi Garden

The little green plants make the surroundings beautiful and give happiness to people. The lovely flowers, like the hearts of good souls, please the eyes of the on-lookers. Trees provide shelter to many birds. They protect living beings from sun-stroke and comfort them under the shade. The group of trees is called a garden. In such beautiful gardens like the Naimisaranya, several ascetics did penance and became the blessed ones. Likewise, our Shirdi Sainath groomed a garden and named it 'Lendi garden'. On seeing Baba as a gardener carrying a pot-full of water, some saints praised Him as, 'the Great Soul who is not for Shirdi alone but a Jewel for the entire World'. In the Lendi Garden, Baba Himself lit an eternal lamp and kept a grill around to safeguard it. He called it an Eternal Lamp that burns out the layers of illusion clouding the human mind.

Everyday Vaman Tatya, the potter, used to offer two unbaked earthen pots to Baba. Sai used to regularly water the plants. By evening He kept the pots upturned underneath the neem tree and they got broken the next day. A beautiful garden came up in a short period of time. Sai raised the beautiful garden to reveal us that the human heart and universe is the Lendi bagh, the Garden of God's abundant love and that every soul, as a fragrant flower, has to be offered to the Feet of Sainath.

Gathering of Like-Minded Good Souls is not Common but should be Cultivated like a Garden

Gathering of Like-Minded Good Souls is not Common but should be Cultivated like a Garden

An association is a get-together of people. Generally a person intends to tread a path trodden by the most. If one is among the good, he will naturally select the right path and thereby reap good results. So, one needs sincere practice and the association of spiritually charged souls. This should be cultivated like a garden. Time and again, it should be watered, weeds uprooted and plants protected. Hence, we all must assemble, listen to and contemplate on the God-Guru Sai and keep assimilating and applying His teachings and emulate His life of love and good deeds.

Listening of the stories of God is an spiritual practice. Valmiki's "Ramayana" and Vyasa's "Bhagavatham" were propagated by his learned disciples throughout this vast country. Thus, even the illiterate masses are familiar with the philosophical truths, epics and right conduct. By listening to such great ideas and getting our hearts purified, devotion and dedication would grow like healthy plants. So, once in a week we should invite our neighbours and make them listen to stories of God's love, do arathi to Sai's idol, pray and sing bhajans, offer food and share it with one and all. The company of such noble souls alone will be our flowery path to reach Sainath Maharaj.

The Secret of Happy Life Lies in Doing Works with Utmost Sincerity

The Secret of Happy Life Lies in Doing
Works with Utmost Sincerity

Every one longs for and labours to experience happiness in life. But, one does not know where happiness lies or the source from which it could be derived. Even though God shows us the path, we are unable to sight it and experience the natural in-built springs of joy. For this, Baba showed a simple and natural method. We must make God know every action we do. In every day life, we do several "works" for livelihood. Tilling land, cooking food, attending to house-hold chores and upbringing the children etc. If we feel, they are being done for the sake of someone else, they look tough and burdensome. However, without selfish attitude, if we treat them as a responsibility to accomplish, they do not appear tough to us.

Whatever work we are entrusted with has to be done. If we attend to the work and offer it at the altar of God, the work does not look tough or strenuous. When there is no strain, we need not feel sick or tired. Same work and same effort, but one works joyously. Our thought, word and deed get integrated as our head, heart and hand get involved in the work. Transparency and purity mark our deeds if they reflect our thoughts. It is Divinity. Joy wells up within us because the Ever-Joyous Baba dwells within us and we can joyously journey through life.

Innocence draws us Closer to God

The path of knowledge is also a way of reaching God. But the path of devotion is safe and simple similar to the innocent love of a baby for its mother. When one engages in repeated reading of the Vedas, Puranas, Itihasas, Sastras, Upanishads, there is every possible danger of one becoming intellectually arrogant, assuming that he or she alone is above the rest. In devotion, there is no room for pride, envy, jealousy, logic, argument or even for traces of arrogance. There is sheer self-offering. One dwells only with God alone. Although the newly born baby is unaware of its mother, the motherly love and gentleness are sensed by it by the mother's mere touch. In fact, a mother protects her baby just as the eyelids protect the eyes.

Likewise, like children, we should seek Sai-our Divine Mother. Then, He becomes our Mother, Father, Guru and everything to stay with us all along. Denying God's presence, the intelligent, mighty and ego-bloated warriors like Ravan, Hiranyakasip, sage Durvasa ultimately tumbled down and met with miserable death. Did not the innocent children Prahlada and Dhruva could sit in the lap of God? The devotion combined with obedience is far better than the pride of knowledge. If we can fill our hearts with the pure innocence of a child, Baba will hold our hand and guide us safely to Self-liberation.

Spread the Message of God

When we lack the flair and power to grasp the divine words, some noble people will act as mediators between us and the God Supreme. To explain it in our modern scientific terminology, a person makes a telephone call. The telephone operator will connect it to the right person. Imagine, the other person did not answer the call. The operator would try again and again. Even then, if the phone is not lifted, the other person would be at a great loss. Sometimes it would spell disaster. In this way, some great people who are committed to this purpose will teach us the right conduct and techniques of spiritual meditation. They even explain us ways and means to overcome the problems.

All the blessed souls will attempt to preach us spiritual messages. It would be foolish to say, "what have they to teach me"? If someone speaks good words again and again, it is God who communicates the message through that person. It is not a word but a beacon-light to bring us out from darkness. The Merciful God incarnated several times in several human forms on the earth in a bid to put us on the right path. One such move is the manifestation of Sai Baba to put us on the path of righteousness. Therefore, we have to spread the divine message to one and all. Every effort of ours to keep mankind on the right track is also a part of the All-Merciful Sai's service.

An Abode of The Divine Master

An Abode of The Divine Master

In Shirdi village, at the age of sixteen, Sri Sai Baba appeared under a neem tree for His devotees. By that time, He was an enlightened soul and no one knew His parentage and lineage.

On one occasion, possessed by the spirit of the deity, Khandoba, two men who were asked by the people gathered there to announce who the great soul underneath the neem tree was. They were commanded to dig with a crow bar under the tree. On so digging up, they found bricks and on removal of which a big stone-like door was sighted. When it was pushed aside, a stair-way led to an underground structure, where on the cemented floor, four wick lamps, beautiful rosaries and a cloth for placing them were seen. God Khandoba announced that the boy did penance there for twelve years.

Thereupon, the humble villagers questioned the boy about it and He replied that it was His Guru's abode, a very holy place and, therefore, as in the past, it would be better to close and keep it safe. People did as he said so. The boy, who left Shirdi returned as Sai Baba, hallowed Shirdi for sixty years by His presence and healed, helped and enlightened whoever met Him by His miracles and message of love and service. Baba assured that whoever performs Guru Pooja on Thursday at the abode of His Guru will be blessed of self-liberation.

Baba The One Who Performs All Actions

Baba The One Who Performs All Actions

Who would but hold the skies form falling?
Who would but keep the flying planes balancing?
Who would but save the trees from the wind?
Who would but make it possible to walk?
My stumbling grandmother and grandfather?
How do the moon and stars dangle in the skies?
Why is the sun stationed at such a distance?
Who would but make the dragon-fly and birds fly?
Baba, You are the Performer of all, a player as well
All this I know, You naughty, I know
If You are not beside, I grieve, You know.

Total Surrender to Sainath

Total Surrender to Sainath

All human beings are the beautiful flowers raised in the garden of God. He is their Protector. Baba used to tell that He incarnated on the Earth to promote our material and spiritual well-being. Hence, whatever actions or duties we perform, they should be offered to Baba in word, spirit and deed. This is known as complete surrender. Every minute we need to meditate on Baba in our heart. If we could put into practice Baba's words, He would definitely make a place for us in His heart. We have to believe in Baba as our everything and live in His Light.

On one occasion, a Swami from Alandi approached Baba with a severe ear-ache and sought His blessings. In spite of undergoing an operation, he found no relief. Baba blessed him assuring, "Allah Achha karega", that 'God would cure him'. Keeping faith in Baba's words, he returned to Pune and within a week the pain miraculously cured. It is all due to his complete surrender and faith that his ear -ache vanished by the Grace of Baba. Whatever work we do, we should think of Baba and feel that it is Baba who works through us. There should be no feeling of "I" or "mine", except a conscious feeling that it is done as per His Will. Then, there is no possibility of making a mistake. Moreover, the ego sense that, "I am doing" would get erased. We have to seek His protection by our total surrender to Him.

Blessed to be a Flute

Blessed to be a Flute

God is all pervading. He dwells in every being. But only in a few that divinity is openly visible. The reason is that the blessed souls were freed from several impurities in order to manifest that divinity. It is the tendency of human nature to accumulate all and sundry things and having done so, one simply ignores their utility. A house gets jam-packed with unwanted articles. Likewise, our minds too get cluttered up with unwanted thoughts and there will be no scope for right thoughts. Then how come there be a place to think of God? Therefore, man must make his mind as empty as a hollow flute.

An ordinary bamboo becomes a flute on removing its core substance. Likewise, a man can produce heavenly music like a flute by getting purified. God dwells in a pure heart. He will fill his breath as musical notes in that heart. Elated, He broadcasts soul-stirring songs. The air blown through the flute of heart will become spiritual and the universe echoes with it. The bamboo eagerly awaits for the touch of the lips of Lord Krishna and gets transformed into a flute. Like a flute spreading the melody of Lord Krishna in the universe, we can also spread the melodious message of Baba with our deep yearning for universal welfare. It is not just enough to think, "I must become a flute" but practice is essential for reaching that ego-erased, hollow state.

Service with a Loving Heart is true Service of Sai

Service with a Loving Heart is true Service of Sai

Love alone rules the world. Love is holy, selfless, stain-free and love with integrity and simplicity is the form of God. Human heart is as vast as the Universe. When we churn the human heart, what results in is the golden chalice of ambrosia of love. The love a mother showers on her child and the love God rains on His devotees are too sweet to be savoured. It cannot be explained in plain words. Our true love is expressed, without expecting anything in return, for those whose faces we want to see glow in joy and they prosper and be peaceful. God's love is, indeed, true love.

What can we give as a gift to Baba who is the very embodiment of Divine Love? Pure love for Baba is the flower one can offer at His Feet. There are several people in this world who are needy, orphaned, handicapped and suffering from dreaded diseases. Providing the needy with desired help at appropriate time is the true love we can express for Baba. Visiting old-age homes, hospitals and offering food, sweets and other gifts may provide a short-time solace for them. But, the love and concern with which we care for and serve the helpless and the sick is like a cool breeze in hot summer. The service rendered with love to the society will be blessed by Baba and we will be led on the right path to reach Baba's Feet of Felicity.

Honour to Our Work, Happiness in Doing It

Honour to Our Work, Happiness in Doing It

God is the embodiment of Truth. With His creative power He would often coat the sandal paste of love to our objectives and make our lives happy. For those people who are blessed by His grace, every small matter looks wonderful. The world appears very beautiful. Whatever is looked at would appear to be the love-miracle of God. Every move and word gets charged with God's Spirit-Power. In that state, concentration is more on the objective and utility of the work but not on its magnitude. When a work is taken as a ritual or done under compulsion or done without any spirit, the zeal will decrease. Fatigue takes its grip over us.

Be it in simple works like cooking, washing, nurturing and upbringing children and cleaning the streets, we should be able to see greatness in every work. While doing it, enthusiasm should flood our minds. When we do it so, we work with greater efficiency. It is talent. For this, we need the energizing, inspiring, motivating force that drives us into action. And it is life force. It is the consciousness of soul of is the form of Baba as the Universal Soul. If such soul consciousness be with us, every work will be glorious. Life, like a sweet song will hum along. Nothing looks lifeless. Everything is animated by the Spirit-Force. All our efforts will be crowned with success and glory.

Life Blessed With the God-Guru is A Shining Pearl

Life Blessed With the God-Guru is A Shining Pearl

Scholars often compare life to a bubble, given the ephemeral nature of it from the beginning to end. The running stream would turn into foam and glitters. It looks bright like a row of corals in twilight, like the gold melted twinkle in the dawn. But, it turns again into water by the next moment. The foam is a drop of water, which is but our existence. Sometimes it looks queer to compare life with a drop of water on the lotus. But a close scrutiny reveals its truth. Life gets meaning by our conduct.

Just as the water droplet on a hot pan evaporates instantly, life full of jealousy and envy will extinguish even before treadings on the right path. In the early hours, the dew-drops on the green leaves shine like radiant pearls. Again, life, which is a bed of roses amidst wealth and pleasure is not purposeful. It might make the observer feel great and fill the heart with happiness. However, one drop of water trickled into the oyster at the right season would transform it into a beautiful pearl. The moment a raindrop falls into the oyster, it closes and reaches the rock bottom of the sea. It could be perseverance or penance. But it becomes a priceless pearl. Thus, life becomes fruitful if a Perfect Master like Sainath comes and gives the right message. Life is like a drop turned into a pearl of the supreme bliss.

Baba, the Symbol of Divine Love

Baba, the Symbol of Divine Love
Love is a great attribute of God. Love is the essence of all principles of God. 'Love thy neighbor as you love thyself' is the divine directive for all. This is possible only when we know that all beings are alike. The welfare of the society and all-round growth lies in this basic tenet. If we understand that the ultimate purpose of human life is to share love with all, there is every possibility of longing for serving the society. It would not only make us but those around us get enveloped in love. Indeed, the true sense of sharing our God-infused love is to assure the desperate and lonely people that they are never alone and that we would stand by them at all times.

When love overflows in the heart, it is devoid of any thought of race, religion, creed, color and gender. It just makes everyone float in the flood of love and spreads happiness! Such a divine love gets doubled and enriched upon sharing it with others as God will always be showering His love on us. There are several ways and means of sharing love with others. A gentle touch, a simple talk, a word of encouragement, a pat, being sympathetic, listening with patience and so on. Whatever help or service we render to our fellow beings without expecting any appreciation or reward, indicates the fluttering of the flag of Sai Divine Love on the temple pinnacles of our hearts.
