Sri
Sai Baba, a Great Yogi, used to move like a common man. He is the
guide to the great saints. Who is a great soul? Let us examine.
There comes a sweet fragrance and melodious music from the open
area surrounded by lofty boundary walls. Some pedestrians have assumed
it to be something that does not matter and kept moving. Some stopped
and peeped inside the compound, got mesmerized by the melody and
jumped in. They did not return. The third group of people climbed
up the walls and peeped inside. They returned to the street and
called up all, 'Come! Come! We can get lot of delight there' and
thereafter encouraged and persuaded them to come inside. Out of
these three sorts of people, the first group represents foolish
persons. The second group is like the prophets, who, on realizing
God, forget the world and remain in that state of ecstasy. The third
group consists of people who would sacrifice their very happiness
for the salvation and welfare of all.
On a closer study of Baba's life, we come across countless events
in which He followed truth as per the spirit of the adage "If
we protect truth, truth, in turn, protects us". With simple
and sweet words Baba taught His devotees the essence of truth and
righteousness. Through His deeds He made it clear that practice
of righteousness will lead us in the right direction.
