Parents are the Living Gods

Every one's childhood passes under the protection of parents. Parents do take care of nurturing and upbringing children and groom them as good citizens. Right from the day of her conception, a mother would not mind to forego her comforts and joys and abide by strict self-discipline for the sake of giving birth to a physically and mentally sound baby. Not only the mother feeds the baby but also feeds its mind with lessons in good culture. Coupled with mother's love and fatherly affection, the child is royally brought up with fond love and care till it reaches the age of five.

A child's training in acquiring knowledge starts with its initiation into learning the alphabets. While mother's love is cool like the nectarine moonlight, father plays his stern role in disciplining the child. A child grown into youth in good health, knowledge, wisdom and good conduct will be inspired to live uprightly and tread the right path while discharging one's duties. A water drop either gets evaporated or turns into a pearl, depending on the impact of the environment. Thus, parents play a crucial role in molding the character of their children and helping them attain great heights. Hence our tradition insists on bowing to mother first and next to father, as they are the visible and living gods to the children.
